This week we will be working on our Standarized Test Practice. Daily Geography 142-147 will be covered one per each day. Hopefully there will be alot of discussion and group work. No homework this week.

Scandinavian vocabulary words defined in a hotdog bun paper.

Tuesday -DG135

France and Germany are the heartland of Europe pages 256 – 263. Blank maps are completed from the lessons in class.

Wednesday -DG 136

Spain, Portugal, Italy and Greece are our topics. We will list the differences in a chart.

Thursday DG 137

Eastern Europe especially Poland will be our topic.

Wednesday- DG 132

Country Project due today. Show and Tell what students have learned about their country of Europe.

Thursday- DG 133

New vocabulary from textbook will be made into a foldable with pictures and definitions.

Friday -Social Studies Power Planning

Please note the last Current Event is on May 4th and the DG quiz from 121 up through 140 will be around that same time. Please begin preparation for these grades.

Modern Europe discussion. Introduction to the Country Project due Wednesday April 21, 2010. Students may create their own way of sharing the research information about the country of their choice.

Laptop research for the students country project.

Media center books will be available for students to continue research for country project.

Thursday DG 128

Students will need to work on their country project out of class. We will begin lesson on Culture and Lifestyles of Europe from the textbook.
